Haha, once again these person nailed it, same exact experience, with the same result, these place is a no go unless you like pretty pictures in menus and your taste buds aint working. ohh yeah tell them to fix their rockin tables o/s I had to hold my side of the table the whole evening.Its a shame cause you can tell is got a little potential, but lack of attention to simple details gonna kill them.

I just experienced this winery for the first time on Sunday for Winter Wineland!We had MacKensie (sp) pouring for us and she was delightful. She and the wine together brought 2 new club members to Paradise!

Thanks for the info, Anonymous! The day spas and dry cleaner surely close up at the end of normal business hours, so that's probably why the only illuminated sign at night was the sushi restaurant. Good to know, though...and I would also love to have a Whole Foods Market there! I'd settle for Trader Joe's, though, as my second choice. :)

They're not the only tenats in the shopping center. There are two day spas right next door and a drycleaners on that end. On the other end there is a dance studio. Use to be a dead strip mall but the owners have since fixed up the joint. I'm now hoping for a Trader Joes or Whole foods store to find this place.

It's been a while since we walked out of this Chevys on the River, so I'm not sure what, if any, of their happy hour policies have changed...but we've had such great service from a few other Chevys locations that it's easy to stay away from this one. Waiting 20-25 minutes to be greeted pretty much puts any restaurant on my blacklist! :)

I was shocked that the neon yellow and orange table ads on every bar table proudly displaying happy hour m-f 3-7 1/2 price apps and $1 off house margs were missed. I was also told about happy hour by the host and cocktail server every time I go. There is also a giant sign when you walk in that tells about happy hour. But I will admit that they have a modified happy hour. Not the same discount on the margs as other Chevy's but they have a wider selection of apps to choose from for their happy hour. I wouldn't count them out. I would try them again because I have never had a bad meal there yet.

Quite honestly, I would pay $7.99 if all I ate was their tapioca taro soup! ;)

Great tasting food, but very high prices. Good Food, but awful service. A very greedy owner that has ZERO clue about how to run a business. We had a gift certificate for $25 from my boss to scout the food, service, and location for a big company function in July. Needless to say, the owner refused to accept our $25 gift card because in the fine print, it stated “must present prior to ordering.”. Now I do that I did not read it and this was my fault, BUT what a foolish business decision and how rude customer service. 99.9% of other business owners would have either honored that OR at least have the common decency to come out and apologize and offer soeme other discount (15-20% off). MY fault, but their loss because I will sharwe this experience with everyone. The worst part of it all is that there seems to be a PATTERN of them not accepting coupons. There are also another yahoo thread review complianing about not accepting coupons.

Thanks for your compliments, mail4gus! Yes, I admit I can be generous in my reviews, but I still manage to convey the truth in a politically polite manner. :)

As far as better Filipino food, I'll have to wait till my mom comes to visit from Hawaii again! She's from a region in the Philippines that is renown for their top culinary status among Filipinos. Although I'm an accomplished home chef myself, my talents don't quite reach the Far East! I make lumpia, kare kare and sinigang, that's about it. :)
